This delightful still life is attributed, but not confirmed, to William Chard, a British painter and sculptor who studied under Henry Moore. The simple nativity of this painting belies the immense skill of the painter. The wonderful colour palette hints that it is from around the 1950s/60s. Framed in its original, simple wooden frame.
