A pretty, original vintage landscape of Brington, Cambridgeshire, by Lilian Clark Goodchild.
This charming, English village scene is by Lilian Clark Goodchild, who was the daughter of James Clark, a famous early 20th Century artist in Britain. The colours she has used to capture the dappled sunlight are just gorgeous; salmon pink, duck egg blue and chartreuse green. The view is of a village street, leading to a church and there is some information on the back of the painting saying that it is of Chruch Lane, Brington, Cambridgeshire. The original oak frame is painted a complementary grey.
