I absolutely love this antique French mirror. It's simple in design and started out life as a gilt mirror, but over the years has been painted various colours including grey and finally - many years ago - a soft pink colour. The result is all the layers have peeled back to reveal bits of gilt, grey and pink - absolutely stunning! You just cannot re-create paint like this. The original mirror is in good condition with just touches of speckling in the silver.
