What is Javascript?
Most E-Commerce websites, including Decorative Country Living, now use a programming language called JavaScript to give you a richer and more exciting browsing experience, and you will need to ensure this is turned on to get the full experience of using such websites.On our website, Javascript controls the roll over features on product images and also allows you to view the alternative or detail product images. It also controls pop-up windows (we don't use any advertising on our site, so all pop-ups are site-related, such as the pop-up for Links on the home page) and some navigation links. As a result, certain features of the website may be inaccessible without Javascript.
If you are having difficulty using certain functions, please check you have JavaScript turned on. Here's how:
On a Windows pc, in the browser menu, select Tools, then Internet Options. Next...
...If you are using Internet Exporer, choose Security tab, then choose Internet Zone and click the button marked Custom Level. Scroll down to Scripting and, under the heading Active Scripting, check the button marked Enable.
Click OK to apply the setting....If you are using Firefox, choose Content and check the box marked Enable Javascript, then click OK to apply the setting.
...If you are using Netscape, choose Site Controls and check the box marked Enable Javascript, then click OK to apply the setting.
On a Mac, in the browser menu, select the name of the browser you are using (next to the Apple symbol) and choose Preferences. Next...
...If you are using Safari, in the pop-up window, choose Security tab, then check the button marked Enable Javascript.
Reload the page to apply the settings....If you are using Firefox, in the pop-up window, choose the Content tab and check the box marked Enable Javascript. Reload the page to apply the settings.
...If you are using Internet Explorer, in the left-hand column of the pop-up window, choose Web Browser, then Content, then on the right-hand side of the window, under Active Content, check the box marked Enable Scripting, followed by OK, to apply the settings.
