These gorgeous cushions are made from original antique, hand-woven linen from the begining of the 19th century. Originally made as grain or flour sacks, the different coloured stripes identified the weaver. As the linen was usually home grown, harvested and loomed, the fabric is quite rustic and has lovely slubs and imperfections in the weave, and is incredibly hard-wearing.
Each cushion is finished with mother of pearl buttons and filled with a feather pad.
